Talk to us

The fastest way to get a useful answer is to send your clearance conditions and your consent to operate. With those two documents we can usually tell you the figure that binds you, and whether what is already on site meets it.

What to send

You do not need all of this to start a conversation. The first two do most of the work.

  1. 1

    Environmental clearance conditions

The EC letter itself, or the condition schedule. This is where the binding green belt figure for your project actually sits.

  2. 2

    Consent to operate

Issued by your state pollution control board. Its standing conditions may impose a stricter requirement than the clearance does, and it is the document your renewal is judged against.

  3. 3

    Plot area and category

Total plot area, your Red, Orange, Green or White classification, and whether you sit inside an industrial estate.

  4. 4

    What is already planted

Any existing plantation, with a rough count or area if you have one. Most sites are further along than they think, and some are further behind.

Common questions

How do I find out what green belt my project owes?

Send your environmental clearance conditions and your consent to operate. Those two documents, with the plot area and pollution category, are enough to establish the figure and to identify whether your state board imposes something stricter. You can send them on WhatsApp to +91 92093 28498 or by email to info@agproconsulting.com.

What does an obligation assessment cost?

It depends on the site and on how much documentation already exists. We quote after seeing the clearance conditions, because a single-condition reconciliation and a multi-unit estate are not comparable pieces of work. There is no charge for telling you which of the two you have.

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and an assessment is not a substitute for a direction from your appraisal committee or pollution control board.
