Devendra advises Indian industrial and infrastructure projects on their green belt obligations — reconciling what an environmental clearance requires with what a state pollution control board’s consent conditions actually demand, then delivering the plantation and the evidence that keeps a consent renewable.
He writes the regulation up here because most of it has never been set down plainly. Several of the instruments that govern green belt in India are published only as scans, which is why so much of what circulates about them is second-hand and wrong. The work on this site starts from the signed originals.
